Default BOV vacuum source and adjustment Q's

This topic may have been covered before but i could not find what i needed so please don't tell me to search! anyway my questions are. I have the BOV and my boost gauge going off of the vaccum line that goes from fpr to intake manifold. is that bad? and where can i reroute my BOV too? i heard the break booster line, but that scares me. are there any other reliable sources? my other question is that my Blitz ssdd BOV is not loud and it sounds fluttery. Im running 6 psi with the apexi kit on a 99 sohc civic. ive heard it on other cars and it sounds alot nicer than mine. at first it made no noise, then adjusted the screw and now it makes some noise btu not loud and crisp, clear sounding, its really fluttery and quiet. thanks guys!

if the bov is real quiet try loosening it some. USE THE BRAKE BOOSTER LINE!!!! dont run everything off one vacuum source

other opinions never hurt anything, and i did adjust the bov numerous times, tighter, looser medium everythwere and its just not what ive heard out of a blitz before. and the brake booster is all fine and dandy but i was curious what other lines i could use as well.

The compressor is not a source of vaccum
This source should be used for the WG only, or capped off.

the brake booster line is a good source however.

IMO, I don't think you'll have a problem.

I think this is really only a problem once 3+ items are all T'd off a tiny little 3mm vaccum hose.

In my old setup I had the MAP/BOV/boost gauge all running off the IACV with no problems.

I hooked mine to several different vac. sources excluding the brake booster line and it never worked right. So I cut the spring in my blitz dd ss until it worked right.

I think i would try the brake booster line before you do this, I've heard nothing but good from the all mighty brake booster line

the brake booster is the biggest vacuum line goin into the intake manifold. it goes to the rear of it. i think this is the easiest way to explain it w/o getting technical. anyone else got something? by the way Ramstein is the shiznit

well with my garbage maxrev tthat is brand new Im gonna grease and lube the **** out of it make sure that there is no dirt or sand in the chamber. Im gonna have my spring cut on the inside not to sure on the blitz but pulling it apart and cleaning it and lubing it couldnt hurt.

brake booster is the THICK vacuum line attached to the right of the IM on the firewall. i hope that helps. i recomend ALL bov go to this, and not to FPR line becuase that is not sufficient, and don't run more than 1 thing off of any source! ALSO T the brake booster before the check valve.
