spun bearing... do heads normally get hurt when this happens?

Default spun bearing... do heads normally get hurt when this happens?

I got a guy I'm trying to buy a block from and I just want to make sure thats all that goes wrong when you spun bearing in the block. I dont want to find out I have a bad head when I get the block.

when my friend spun his bearings, nothing in his head got messed up . i dont know if thats true for all cases, but i think your heads prob still cool .

ya, as long as a rod didnt break, sending a piston up into the head, wreaking havoc on the valves...

Mine and a friends meesed up like one or two valves. Check and see if there is any marks on the piston from the valve hitting and you will know for sure.

sometimes the crank and depending on how bad it is, sometimes it will get into the fire ring and sometimes letting the top of piston make contact with head, or valves.
