Into what car? In my EK I just removed the center console. Took off the shift ****. And pulled the whole assembly out. There are two screws holding in place. Reverse and its installed. IM me if I can make it any more clear. Should take about 15 minutes. Good luck.

depends on where you got it. There are fakes on eBay that you have to take the bracket off your old boot and put it on the new one. SUCKS
