Intake on a civic hybrid?

Intake on a civic hybrid?
Hey all this is a newbie question but for a 98 LS into a 5th gen hatch, do I buy a CAI for the motor or for the car? I have a CAI from my old DX motor, but its not long enough to reach the hole, so I'm using it as a short ram right now.
