We could debate that forever. Even with dyno results, it's still debatable.

Re: intake question (vollrathian)
i have the password, just basically for show if u want to look flashy but its a short ram and it will get heat soaked unlike the aem cai. also the pass word has more sound while climbing the rpms.

Does "heat soak" really apply for non racing applications? Does the better throttle response make up for heat soak?
I dunno. How long do you want to argue about it?
Have you budgeted a specifici period of time?

what are u talking about?? anything said can be applied to anything. u just have to understand what it means. Im just saying shortrams take in hot air rising in your engine bay while stock intakes have a box shielding the hot air and cai's have the filter located outside the engine bay. Cooler air is better than hot when it comes to engine performance.

How do you rate "better" and do you include throttle response and the driver's perception and ability to use the performance?
A dyno chart isn't going to give you the whole picture.

how much hot air can an intake really suck in at 20+ mph????? this is why a dyno is inconclusive. Search and you'll find more info than you ever wanted to know and it's still ALL debatable and gives no answer.
