blowbye and what i can do?????
basically here is the deal:
95 b18c
70k.
driven hard since 20k when i purchased it 3 years ago.
all synthetics since then as well. mobil 1 10w-30 and recently amsoil 10w-30.
basically it consumes like none other above 6000 rpm.
what should i do? i want to rebuild, but i was wanting to know the extensiveness of this rebuild. the motor still pulls hard and runs fine, but the blowby is obnoxious.
thanks for the help guys...

i have the same thing with my D series, it pulls hard but it burns a quart every fifty miles. compression is still 185 so its good i know that. I get a rattling like a ring is broken do you hear any other noise? i'd assume if its broken you probably need to get the block honed. But the rebuild wouldn't be hard at all either way
no other noises. 1 quart per 50 miles!
holly **** and i thought i was bad @ 1 quart per 2000 miles.
i dont hear anything else though.

do you think that the helms and a good shopping list would be suffice with a sufficient amount of time for a noob at rebuilding an engine?
