Need help quickly....stupid question
do you have an auto or 5 speed???
here is what I DO know-
on my 5 speed GSR the tranny drain bolt is about 3 inches BELOW the tranny check/fill bolt.
I used a piece of tubing and a funnel to fill the tranny.. with I think it was 2.4 quarts after an overhaul (LSD install)... it need less with just a fluid change.
HTH.

if its automatic, yank the dipstick (for the transmission, duh) and stick a long funnel in the hole.
after you fill it up, start the car, hold the brake down and move up and down through all the gears slowly, (ie.. park, reverse, drive, drive 2, drive 1 [or however it applies to your car]).
then check the fluid again
try not to overfill it, add a little bit several times, rather than dumping a bunch in at once

I thought on automatics, you are not supposed to check the tranny fluid until after you drive 20 minutes. Since it is supposed to be checked while hot.
