Default Lone Luder?? I have question

Do you have any info on how to make the lude faster. Also, have you heard any pros or cons on the AEM V2 or the DC Sports Dual canister exhaust? Hey whats your opinion with the 03 SI HB are they fast ? If you know. I got one of them to?? It is stock though and seems somewhat tough but not as bad as the lude? Email at chronicangel420@hotmail.com if you have a chance.

wow... it's been a while since I've had that many questions tossed at me all at once.

um... lets take it one at a time:

Yes, I know how to make a Lude go faster. Pretty much any way you want to go, turbo, supercharger, nitrous, or N/A I can help you, or point you to the right person.

Next, I don't keep up much with aftermarket exhausts. My applications all require custom mandrel bent 3" piping. So I haven't heard pros or cons on either, although if you do a search, or post a question you will probably find someone with the answer you're looking for.
An exhaust though doesn't give you the "20+hp" that is advertised. Really and truely, a 2.25" or similar size in metric is a great upgrade for a near stock Prelude. 2.5" if you want to do more stuff to your car. The different mufflers aren't going to give you much different results other than sound and style. On a full exhaust you're looking generally at peak hp figures of around 2-7 depending on who dyno's it, and how long they let it cool, and a bunch of other crap. Generally speaking, it's a great mod to make your car breathe a little better, and sound a little meaner. But it wouldn't be my first choice.

Next:
Personal opinion? Eek. Not a big hatchy fan, and I think the new ones look like a Fuckus... I mean, Focus...
Motor wise? Good design, has plenty of potential. Depends on where you want to go with it. It's new, it's under warranty, and I'd do some bolt ons just to get you around. Toy with something that cost you a little less, and you can afford to eat if you break it.

Any other questions besides blood type, shoe size and my sign?

Looks like Todd gave you some good feedback. Todd is an angel. You will really enjoy his advice and opinions. But other than what you originally needed feedback on, because I don't know too much about cars and am still learning... It would be better for me to answer your other question that I have just quoted you on. So, Welcome to Honda-Tech. I forgot that you are trial member, so I was awaiting a reply from the pm I sent you. Anyways, to NOT be a trial member, give it some time. You will get your power soon enough, maybe in a couple weeks and after several posts. Hope you enjoy this site and good luck to you with everything.

Ok currently I am runnin a Thermal R&D Exhaust, AEM intake, short shifter, and DC Sports header. Oh and wheels and tires (Yokohoma Parada Spec 2's and Tenzo R Shu 4) if that matters, I quess for grip.

The '03 Si's are slow..from what i've seen. My friend beat one in a 90's Dodge Leberran (or however you spell it).

My next step in that situation would be to increase your fuel.

I'd get an AEM or Holly (Avoid B&M) fuel pressure regulator, then maybe get an APEXi VAFC.

yeah, B & M 's blow donkey *****. Todd's right about the fuel. With your intake/header/exhaust alterations, you are changing the amount of air going through the motor. Adding more fuel to the mixture will only help. Make sure not to add too much though. The apexi vafc is not a bad idea either, because it can help you adjust the air/fuel ratio as well as the vtec crossover to give you the most of what you've modified.

Most important is what todd said last, try not to do anything drastic that could result in damaging anything and voiding your warranty.

for preludes heres my thoughts, and im more of an NA person...but..the best flowing exhaust is the ApexiN1...you can get pretty much any CAI, theyre all pertty similar within a few HP...i like the AEM personally...now the header...well....stay away from DC...if your not too into everything and arent going to drop a grand on a header, like most people wouldnt..get the greddy you canm get them for mid 300s brand new, and they give good gains, much better than the DC, ive run both with all my other mods the same, and the greddy was significantly faster at the track..you can gut your cat, which will help with airflow, also getting a diff ecu will help alot, you can get a chipped p72 so it has no lean feul issues, and has better top end, id also very highky recomment cam gears even on a stock motor, you can really move your powerband on the dual cam motor..i noticed a very nice gain on mine with them adjusted i played with them at the track, and figured out what worked best for me..you can also do IM, IM gasket by hondata, and Throttle body, ignition..at this point youll have to decide how far you wanna go, your next steps will be opening the motor...high comp pistons, feul rail fpr cams valvetrain ect....i can get more in depth but theres also a very good thread at the top about all motor apps..hope it helps a little

why not go w/s100. depending on the year, it could be cheaper then v-afc, and def. much better.
