Default CEL 43 help please

it says defective fuel supply or malfunctioning fuel supply.

Any idea how to remedy this problem, also my idle fuel pressure is only 42 psi, could this be related to the problem?

any insight is much appreciated

Thanks!

im getting the same code. Im guessing its my feul pump. I didnt start having problems and getting this code until after I installed my Walbro fuel pump. I've been meaning to try and find another FP and see if that whats causing the code.

i did a search other people said after they replaced their O2 sensor, it cured the problem. But wouldnt it throw the O2 Sensor code instead of the Fuel supply?

Yep, thats what I installed in mine. And at first it worked out fine, then a few months later I got the code, and car would act funny if it didnt get warmed up long enough.

Sometimes the code will comeon right away, and other times it will take it awhile.

I havent tried this yet, but was thinking about it. Just need to locate a O@ sensor for cheap. But I was thinking about trying to replace the fuel pump first and see what happens.

Anybody got a spare R fuel pump laying around they dont need??? Or a O2 sensor they wanna let go for cheap???

well it threw the code on the way to work, but then i shut the car off and the CEL went away. I jumped teh service connector and the code was still there but no CEL. Also this happened before when i threw my stock P72 in. I ran a chipped P28 for a year and a half now and never got this code. I traded ECU's with a friend last night for his P72 just to run it for a couple days because my car was knocking. P28's dont have a knock sensor so i wanted to see if this cured the problem. My car is no longer knocking but now i have CEL 43 again. What should i do?

Geez o weez bro... What mods do you have first of all? I was told by SGT that it could be anything fuel related. So the only thing I could say is check everything thats fuel related.

I'd start with the fuel pump and check your O2 sensor just for the hell of it. If those dont help you out, then Idont know what to tell ya. Im going to try the FP on my car first. And if that doesnt work, then I have a local shop take a look at it and help me find the problem.
