How can I test the Indiglo Gauge faces without fully installing them?

I just want to make sure they work so i can sell them. i bought them from a guy a few weeks ago parting out his ride. I figure I can make some money.

hook it up to your battery. One wire to the positive and the other to negative. Thats all, one thing is to do this in somewhere that is a little dark so you can tell if that the whole gauge is working. Hope this helps
