its around 500 on my 96 gsr, its a lil low, dont u think>? isnt normal 750? what could be some problems or solutions?

 

Mine has always been around 500 on my 95 GSR, I think its just fine

 

Well, the tach on our cars aren't that accurate, so it might be an accuracy problem. But the helms manual says the idle should be 750rpm + or - 50rpm.

 

i don't know if this would help but you could tighten or loosen up the throttle cable, probably wrong though

 

You don't want to tighten and loosen the throttle cable to adjust the idle. You "could" use the throttle cable to do it, but it's inaccurate. Instead there is a screw on the throttle body that you adjust. This screw adjusts how far the throttle plate closes.
