Default Questions on B16a2 Turbo Size and Places to buy a Turbo?

I have been doing Research On my Future Setup and Have yet to come to a Solid conclusion!

My goals are ~250ish WHP With Just under ~200 TQ

I am plaing on using a Stock B16a2 and The car will be street Driven and Hondata 2B Tuned.

I have been Looking at Both the T3/T4 AR .63 50 trim and 54 trim as possible options, But Cant seem to find many Post or Dyno charts Showing differnce.

Could Some one Please give Me Advice, Options, Ideas, Etc.....

And I would also Like to Know a Place to get the 54 trim? Cheapturbos.com Does not seem to sell one!

Thanks in Advance,

Eric

It's a t3/t04e 50 trim
.60 cold side
.63 hot side
will support 380hp within it's efficency range.

Contact Arturbo for pricing.

You may have to become more realistic about your torque goal too... 250/200 on a stock b16 is a lot of torque at that hp level. Or, you could just shoot for more hp!

Say he get's a smaller quick spooling turbo like the SC50 with a .48 trim on the exhaust side. It should spool very fast and make good power down low.

The faster you make the power in the rpm band the more tq you will have.

150hp @ 4000rpm = 200ft-lbs
170hp @ 4500rpm = 200ft-lbs
190hp @ 5000rpm = 200ft-lbs
210hp @ 5500rpm = 200ft-lbs
228hp @ 6000rpm = 200ft-lbs
247hp @ 6500rpm = 200ft-lbs
266hp @ 7000rpm = 200ft-lbs
285hp @ 7500rpm = 200ft-lbs
304hp @ 8000rpm = 200ft-lbs

A smaller quick spooling turbo shouldn't have a problem making:
190hp @ 5000rpm
210hp @ 5500rpm

Well I Said, "Just Under 200tq"

So I was meaning like 180 range!

I know the 1.6liter will have tough time Making The Big Tq numbers!

Whats the differnce to running a .48 AR to a .63 AR?

I was told Traction would be Harder with .48 So I am assuming Quiker Spool?

Eric </TD></TR></TABLE>

What you were told is correct. But the .48 will make more power down low, which equals to more tq down low. Like a roots style sc'r
