Default Ctr cams in b16a

Whats up h-t. Hey I might get some ctr cams off another h-t member, But want to know if they make any diff in power w/the b16a head parts?
If I do get the cams I will also get a mugen chip on my pr3, how much abuse can a b16a take if I take it to 9gs once in awhile?
Sorry for the noob questions.

well are you gonna upgrade the valve springs and retainers also?

they'll make power but you need a better valve train....

ef-1 makes good stuff...

Yeah, you can run safely on a stock valvetrain and revlimit but you need higher revs and good tuning to make decent power.
Personally I didn't experience any of the "drop in" power that some people go on about.

With CTR cams, there will be no reason to take it to 9k RPM. For revs that high, you want some Skunk2 stage 2 or JUN III cams whoadie.
