changing auto tranny fluid on a 97
how do i change the auto tranny fluid on a 97 lude? do i have to bleed it or anything (can't see any way that i would but just thought i'd ask) how easy is it? just like an oil change?
my aim is harley4point6L i appreciate it man....what else would i need to do for maintenance? fuel filter? oil change is understood, maybe check the serpentine belt, what else?
its just like an oil change, find drain plug, drain, get funnel and fill where the dipstick goes. just be sure not to overfill, take your time. as far as maintenance it all depends on the miles. if you just bought the car i would change all the filters and fluids you can so you know the last time it was done. also check your ignition system (plugs, wires, cap, etc.) if you buy a service manual most have a preventive maintenance/ tune up section.
Please tell me you bought a Lude...Please tell me it wasn't automatic.
I AIM'd w/no response..let me know if you need it later.
