Looking to upgrade my catalytic convert to something high flow or performance, are any of the aftermarket companies street-legal or emissions friendly?

I would think as long as you have a Cat...high flow or not its fine. How many emission inspectors will be able to tell the difference, or even care?

As long as you got one everything should be fine. I had a high flow and passed fine.

 

well I've had a carsound cat 2.25 inch one.. very nice .. and passed smog even after 2yrs of usage ..but I hear some people complain of there high flow cats getting clogged.. so I guess it's a 50/50 chance that it'll be able to hold up on modified engines

 

Carsound and Dynomax make "high flow" converters. Some other company does, too I believe.
