Default Quick reply! Konis moving the perch!

What's the easiest way to move the perch setting without taking the whole shock out again? Or am I pretty much going to have to take the shock out and pry to perch up with a screw driver? The instruction manuals didn't say, I'm assuming I use a screw driver to pry the perch setting up?!

lift it.
FRONT:
take off the top strut mount and unbolt the damper fork at the bottom. have a friend compress the spring enough so you can move the perch up.

Back:
all you have to do is compress the rear spring and move the perch up.

And yes, I have done it before with them still on the car.

But I do just use a screw driver to pry it up a notch right? There's no special tool involved?

I'll just take off the front suspension again. Damn springs. Ugh! !@#$##

what i use is a pair of needle nose pliers to "open" the circlip up, and use a small flathead screwdriver to twist the circlip up.

just move up to the next perch like the way you put rings on a piston.

i just used a flathead. didnt unbolt any of the suspension tho. i have GC sleeves, but i just was able to move it from the bottom to the next one up with no troubles.
i think it helps if you put the koni on its softest setting.

Well yeah after looking at it closely I just used a screwdriver, but the front is still WAY too low. On the street setting I managed to bottom it out on FLAT GROUND. Heh. So I'm going to be getting rid of my NeuSpeed Race springs and getting some sports. Any recommendations that will give me maybe a one finger gap? Neuspeed Sports are my choice unless someone knows of something better, maybe Eibachs?
