which tire is the biggest tire in the 205-50-15 size
Azenis seem to have a really square shoulder and the tire seems oversized compared to other 205-50-15's
anyone have any thoughts about this?

The Azenis are wide, I know that... but if you are doing this for handling's sake, the A032R is an R compound tire; I know the Azenis aren't and I'm pretty sure the T1-S's aren't either.
hands down 32R for ultimate grip in the tires you have in your comparison...
Azenis will probably be widest...but can't match the Advan's hold on the road....

Chris, 032R's are not R compound tires. They are H's.

Yok A032R's are an R-compound tire. They are somewhat liveable as a daily driver tire but they were really designed to be driven to the track on and have lots of durability.

I had both Azenis and A032's in my garage at the same time. Azenis on 6.5" wheels were wider thatn A032's on 7" wheels. The weight difference is HUGE... I never did weigh them, but there was a very noticable difference in weight - I'd guess at least 5lbs, probably more per tire.
These were track-only tires for me - and back and forth to the tracks. The A032's are much louder than the Azenis. On the track, the A032's do have a little more grip than the Azenis, but not much. The main difference is feel. The A032's just have a little better feel to them. These are the only two tires I've ever driven on this car so I don't have much to compare to - only to each other. Oh, and while the Azenis lasted me 8 events, plus about 6000 miles back and forth, the A032's are virtually slicks after two events this year. Don't even THINK about taking them out in the rain either (once they start to wear). The Azenis were much better in the wet, even on low tread.
Conclusion - If money were no issue, and these were my only two choices, I'd get the A032's. But, since money is always an issue, I won't buy another set. They're better, but at three times the cost of Azenis, they're not that much better.
If this is a street tire, I'd look at Azenis or S03's.

I was going to get the S-03s for a street tire, but funds were low this year. I ended up getting the Ecsta MX instead, thinking the worst. As far as I'm concerned, I probably wouldn't be able to tell the difference. After I get a little track time and GOOD driving experience, I'll get the S-03s.
It's starting to sound like I was overly concerned about the wet weather driving in the Azenis. Oh well.

Maybe I dont get it? I just go by the Tirerack.

If you want a tire for street use, use a street tire - such as the Falken Azenis Sport, the Toyo T1-S, the Bridgestone S-03, or the OEM Bridgestone RE010.
If you want a tire strictly for track use, use a track tire (R Compound), such as the Yokohama A032R.
I use the A032R only for the track (with a small number of local miles just between the track and the hotel). I have gotten around 1200 actual track miles (~1700 total miles) on the A032R on my ITR before they needed replacement. That includes rotating them front to rear, but not rotating them side to side.
I'm not sure about the width, but I can offer some insight into the subject tires.
At expo White Dragon was running the Yok's. I was running some corded (1 rear, 1 front) 2 year old Hoosiers. I'm not sure what **** was running, but the three of us were running together very closely during one of the sessions on the last day. To me that suggests the Yok is a very capable tire.
The weekend after Expo I had my first experience with the Azenis. I drove Chris N's car at Gingerman for half a session... I was very impressed with those tires. The only issue I saw was that they tended to be sensitive to temps. Too cold and they were loose, too hot and they were loose. I could go 2 hard laps and they would get hot, 1/2 lap at 90% and they would cool enough to allow another 2 good laps. That's about all the laps I got until I got black flagged
I needed a new set of street/autocross tires this week so I got some of the Azenis. I don't think you can beat the for the $$$.
Ausmith - who still has to take his numbers off his car from Expo

kinda crappy shipping price, but still cheaper than tirerack.

I'm still not sure how you did that.....
