Default Hybrid civic speedometer not accurate with GSR motor??

Tonight I was behind my girl on my way home from work and I noticed she was going a lot faster than usual (first time driving the Hybrid to work). So, I call her and was like how fast are you going? My speedo showed 90mph and she told me 82mph. So, I pull next to her, she's going 72 and my speedo is showing 80.

I'm swapping in a GSR cluster as soon as I figure out the wiring.

Just curiois if this is normal when a GSR motor is dropped in a Civic with the civic cluster?
