Default Drag 3 or Greddy what turbo to get for a d16y8

I want to buy the drag 3 because it comes with everything the turbo, all the parts and the intercooler ($3200). But the greddy is half the price at 1500 and a inter cooler is 800. Which one should i get? Once i buy one of these kits is it just bolt in and go or do i need boost controllers, timers, and the rest of that stuff? Also what can i set the boost on a stock engine with I/H/E setup and what kind of hp can i get with this?

GReddy = high quality, superb fitment, decent power with good potential.

DRAG = good quality, decent fitment, excellent power and LOADS of potential.

My .02.

I've heard drag's set up is kind of a bitch fitment wise, but like VTC_CiViC implied it's about preference and your goal
I/H/E ? intake/header/exhaust? (can't use header )
Stock motor w/greddy kit/intercooler, 12psi=230whp(265bhp)aprox.

Go for apexi turbo kit. Better than greddy and the turbo is ball-bearing.

At 12 boost 230 hp doesn't sound to good. I was hoping to get 300hp.

12 psi thats about right, boosteded9 had stock d16 running 16.5 psi and he got 300 hp, 200+lbs of torque.

I got an fmax kit (now turbonectics) it bolts right on, but you always need the other stuff if you want to run properly, i have a 2mm headgasket, boost controler, boost timer, gauges, msd timing controller, adj cam gear, mf2 injector controller, walbro fuel pump, 2 add'l injectors,
I got my kit off of ebay for $1700(came with intercooler and all the other neccessary components) but for things to properly run right and not blow up you have to spend some good $$$$$$.
Just like in my sig.....The poor need not apply.

i would go with drag. you already need to boost so much more just to match the power a b16 or b18 would produce and the small greddy turbo will not make as much pound for pound as a t3/t4. so i say go with drag so you get the bigger turbo you will need to get better power.
