Default How to Clean out the Oil Pan?

How should i clean out the nasty oil before I weld on my fitting?? I was thinking of powerwashing it..but thats not environmentally friendly

clean it with some brake cleaner and let it dry out.

I use Toyato Brake Cleaner, works well and doesn't stink too much like other cleaners.

You can use dishsoap. It really doesn't matter, just clean it already.

drain as much oil out as possible, wipe it out with paper towels, then use a cleaner of choice and go at it.

honestly.....i cant believe a thread is needed for this.....if youre gonna try playing with turbos and you cant figure out how to clean oil out of the oil pan all by yourself youre gonna have problems....

just wanting to make sure that i didn't use anything that would leave any residue or leftovers and when it did come to putting motor oil in that it didn't mix and mess anything up
