oil pan.....cleaning.....
has anyone ever tried or heard of setting a oil pan on fire to clean it????? someone told me they put a lil gasoline inside it and around it and throw a match inside and let it burn...says its the best way to clean all the **** inside of it out... can anyone say this is true or ludacris?
And how does the burned "****" get out of the pan? Get real. There is no need to clean the pan. The stuff that is in there is stuck to the bottom and won't get picked up anyway. But, if you want to try it, be sure and post pictures for us.

Don't listen to idiots that tell you stuff like that.
The way I clean my oil pans and have them cleaned great is using varsol. i'll just leave the oil pan in a tube of varsol for a few hours and then get old brushes and go to town on it. It will clean it up great and NO fire needed

I think you should burn that mother!
LOL
Once you got most of the oil removed, a bucket of Dawn and water works well for me. Wash it like you do your dishes. Comes out squeaky clean
