Default Cleaning oil pan

i bought a used oil pan to have tapped for my turbo setup and was just wondering what the best DIY way was to clean it. friend said have a machine shop do it and another said i could use brake cleaner and water? any suggestions?

purple power
i just did my pan a few weeks ago
took all the **** off even the brown old cooked oil

even solvent didnt clean it that good

after that, soap+water and dry it with compressed air

i just took mine off 4 cans of brake cleaner and a wire brush. then used compressed air or leave it in the sun your choice.

Simple green works well for things like that, cuts right through oil pretty well

Simple Green not watered down or brake clean will work good.
