Default advance timing how to?? is it easy to do?

can some one show me how ??(step by step) i'm going to the track this week hope it's gonna help

you adjust it through the distributor, but you want to be carefull you dont do it too much cuz you can also cause damage, what year is your 4g

damn i took off the whole distributor but don't know which part i need to move, this **** drive me nut,i did a search on the web but it confuse me even more damn

so do i move the part inside the distributor or move the whole distributor

undo the 3 bolts and rotate toward the firewall... I hope your using a timing gun

also you have must jump the ECU or else it will compensate for the change

take out your radio and change pocket, theres a plug, 2 wires, the plug is blue...jump that plug thats your service connector....then adjust the distributor by loosening the 3 bolts, ..and using a timing gun is also very useful...if you do not jump the service connector the ECU will compensate and not advance it..peace

no...you dont touch the cap, theres three 12mm bolts that attach the Entire Distributor to the cylinder head, those are the ones you loosen..peace
