Just wondering because this front mount draws so much attention, but If I daily drive the car I'd like to switch to a side mount to keep it out of plane site. Your thoughts on how much boost would keep it efficient.

yea alotta stock turbo cars can run pretty high boost with smics with no problem. i know plenty of dsms that do it. it could very well not cool the air as much as a huge front mount and therefore net the same hp gains, but i think for the purpose of keeping the compressed air cool enough to prevent early detonation, many side mounts do their job fine. sure it mite not have such a margin of safety, but i dont think that's reason enough to say that they aren't good enough. it would also have to depend on location/geograph, setup, and driving habits as well
