what is odbo, and 0db1? what does this refer too?
I dont know what your talking about when someone says odb ect. I understand that different years have diffent odb's but what is it? someone explain?
It all has to do with the different generations of electronics etc. in cars. (ie/ computer's, sensors...) thats a way to briefly explain it i guess
hey good question! lol

obd stands for "on board diagnostics" Pre OBD cars (obd0) are basically do not have this. OBD1 was just the first generation of on board diagnostics with the plug in diagnostic port. Then The next progression was OBD2(a) followed by OBD2(b). It basically changed with the addition of new sensors and electronics in the car etc but I couldnt tell you *exactly* whats different.
