Default Brake Grinding Noise

Just got done installing new rear brake calipers, pads, and turned down the rotors on my 94 Sol. Now I am hearing what sounds like a grinding noise from the rear when I apply the brakes.

Is this noise common until the rotors and pads are broken in?

Any ideas

Did you re-adjust your parking brake? Sounds like its dragging.

I will check it, but like I said, it only makes this rubbing sound when you put the brakes on. Once you let off the brake pedal the sound goes away.

It's normal to make a little rubbing noise until the pads & rotors wear a little. I wouldn't call it 'grinding' though, & it's not very loud. Kind of a 'sshhh' sound. But that's kinda vague since I can't hear it from here.
