Default Slotted Brembos(stock size) or OEM SI( 99) discs brakes on 92 Hatch??

I already have 4 Brembo's (slotted front) on my VX....should I upgrade for SI disc in front...or stick with Brembo??...

I'm planning to lapping a lot this summer....wich should be the best choice...??

durability/performances??

might as well just go with blank rotors, without a full brake kit slots wont do more than blanks will.

I say go Brembo blanks, with some nice pads. You won't be disappointed.

Brembo are already slotted....

but....blank brembo/PBR are better than OEM SI discs upgrade?

Wait wait, now I'm confused... maybe it's just because I got out of a crazy class and my brain is fried BUT. Are you saying that you are swapping the knuckles/calipers/rotors and whatnot from a 99 SI?

yep exactly... OEM SI(99) upgrade disc swap....(front only)....on a 92 hatch

and can I have a picture of what I need for the upgrade(si) by the way...(diagram)...??

Si brake upgrade, do it now!!!

I had those dinky VX brakes too, and swapped in SiRII brakes up front and it makes a noticeable difference. Screw that slotted rotor crap, you can put them on the Si brakes later if you want.

Ok, in that case you should DEFINATELY do that! not only are will you have larger rotors, but you will also have larger calipers, SO much better than simply putting slotted on your car. And since your car weighs less than an SI you shouldn't really have too much brake fade.
