Default ** Need help installing back TIMIBG BELT **

Sorry for the quick question, but on a b18b 99, when installing back the timing belt, I just need to align the TDC mark with the mark on the plastic cover and align the top cam gear with the up sign to the top and arrow facing each other right ? (wow long sentence).... Is that all?

thanks

If you have the lower timing belt cover on, yes the white mark on the crank pulley should line up with the pointer on the cover. The cam pulleys should have the "up" marks up (obviously), and the hash marks in the middle should be even with each other and even with the surface of the head.

Also, take your time. Close to perfect isnt good enough. Make sure when you get the belt on, that EVERYTHING is lined up and where it is suppossed to be, or the car wil run like ****. Believe me, I did it this weekend.
