Default b18c1 timing belt???

I just installed a timing belt on my b18c1 and everything is at TDC before I put the belt on, but after I put the belt back on, the lower cover, and the crank pulley to see if it is all lined up. I turn the motor over a couple times and stop at the white mark on the pulley and the TDC cam gear marks are slightly off, its like a quarter of a tooth off. Just a little bit, not sure if this is ok. If anyone has a picture of how there cam gears line up at TDC with the belt on that would help. I tried lining everything up like 4 times and it still comes up a little uneven. I have the right belt also. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks -Joe

As long as they're at TDC when you first crank it, it is ok. But make sure that your cams are lined up properly too. You should check the valve clearance while you have the head cover off.

That's not a problem. You can't get any better than the nearest tooth, unless you get adjustable sprockets. I think mine are kinda like that, too.

It is best to turn it over a couple times & check again. Set the tensioner again, too. That way if there's any funny slack over by the tensioner it'll work its way out & you'll know about it.
