I guess that is possible mike marsey was making 280whp on stock itr bottom end with pretty much stock top end.

i wonder if this guy was running FI cams vs itr cams.

he must have had some good tuning with a stand alone; along with some low cr pistons in the block.

ohhh, i just read zex kit. Im guessing that is a nos setup.

that is alot of money to be making that kinda power. might make a lot of sense to spend another grand and get an intercooler.

Might happen if it was intercooled, had 2.5 liters of displacement and some endyn magic dust sprinkled all over it.

I might buy 390 crank hp...but 390 on a non-intercooled jrsc setup seems a little out there..

Guess it depends if he was spraying a 35 shot or a 150.

Amen... I got flamed for using the term Pixie dust when referring to Endyne and the 400 (?)Hp 1.5L w/JRSC

I know it's not of this post, but it is related... the older guys know what I mean

and what??? What does it matter if he sprays it all the time and why the ³? I was simply responding to his post that it needs a pretty hefty shot of juice to get 390whp.

What?

16psi is by far possible with the Endyn setup.

How often a day will it be possible to spray N2O into the engine and boosting 16psi non intercooled on it without blowing it?!

This 390whp are worth **** IMO, where you can drive it on the road when the engine has to be cooled down with N2O all the time?! That high whp are only nice on the paper. When the N2O bottle is empty he can not boost, cause it will blow, intake temps are like in an Diesel motor. What a waste of money.

It is FACT and physical proven boosting more than 0.5 Bar non intercooled is like 3 steps forward and 2 steps back. I know there are some JRSC boosting 10psi non intercooled, but this is all but not good for the engine,. You can read that in EVERY boost related technical book that boosting that high non intercooled is nonsense.

we were doing 320 to the wheels on a stock motor with 12psi and a 25 shot nitrous. 16psi and nitrous should be doing at least that much, if not more.

for the 16psi factor it can be done...
on my car when it was supercharged, for some reason with a 3.8 pulley and a b20 crank pulley my car made 15psi, now I dont know why other cars can only make 10-11psi??? just blows my mind that my car did it and others cant, must be a loose blet or something.
but for the hp fact, I made 275 to the wheels with 9-10 psi and a 35 shot, and 195 ftlbs.

I'd like to see a dyno sheet on this.

Also isn't there an rpm limit on these blowers? You can only spin them so fast, and even if you can crank it up to 16 psi the charge is just going to be too hot.

Ask him how much of that coating is still sticking to his screws.

I think it's entirely possible... add enough juice and you can have as much horsepower as you want.

The only problem... direct port nitrous would mean that the SC wouldn't get cooled.

how the hell is the blower itself cooling down with all that boost? it would have to be rebuilt i would think....

the m62 blower can take 10 psi with little problems ( if any,, with the exception of a few isolated incidents)........ its the smaller m45 blower that cannot take that ****........
