Anyone ever have the axle cup that came stuck in the intermediate shaft.......not wanna budge even a
Any ideas to make this sucker pop out without a trip to the machine shop?
EDIT: My title got cut off, basically ive beaten at it with a hammer and pry bar, so any new ideas would be nice.

i had the same problem, try a pickel fork. but that didnt work for me, i had to go buy a new inter. shaft and luckley i had spare axles.
A pickle fork or pry bar will just put pressue on one side, causing the cup to get cockeyed on there, the same thing happened to me, you need to pull on it VERY hard using equal pressure on opposite sides. This it what I did and it came loose.

What exactly did you use to break it loose? what tool.

can i get a long skinny metal ,and hammer and beat it out from the other half shaft side? lmk. because i think i can see the other side from the half shaft side.

that happened to me with the last swap i did, and since it was the sir intermediate shaft, i had to make the 89/ 90 teg axle setup. i ended up building the axle all together with the intermediate shaft because it was not going to come off.
