I just got cel code 20 (Electrical load detector circuit low input). My speedometer gauge and the miles counter stopped working. My rpm gauge is still working. I'm going to bring the car into the dealer tomorrow for warranty repair. I have an aftermarker exhaust. I just want to be sure that the dealer can't screw me out of my warranty saying my exhaust caused the cel. I have a 01 GSR. This sucks. This will be like the 4th time I've had to bring my car in due to check engine.

aftermarket parts do not void the warranty unless the dealer can prove it is the cause of problem/failure.

 

I know that. I just want to be sure they can't try to link the exhaust to an electrical problem.
