Strange cel problem
So the other day I pulled my engine to replace my transmission, when I got done and drove the car I got a check engine light. It does not come on until I hit operating temerature. This is where it gets bizzare. I was letting the car idle and while I sat there the temp gauge rose above normal but the fans did not kick on, so I shut the car off and then the fans kicked on. Are these problems related. I also tried bridging the service connector it threw no code. Wtf is my cars problem?
Also:The car runs fine seems to not be in limp mode or anything

Wierd..I'd disconnect the battery for 30 sec to reset the ECU and see if the CEL pops up again. If it does and you jump the connector and still don't get a code, you could have a bad ECU or something...
very weird. Check all of your fuses. To me, this sounds like an electrical problem. and probably a very simple one since its not effecting the motor.
