Default best B20 trans

In the middle of building a crvtec hybrid motor for the R and i just thought of something.

Since i'll be making most of my power down low and redline about 8k should i switch to a different trans better suited to the engine.

Since the crv was never meant to rev as high as the R i'm afraid that with autox and high freeway cruise speeds i'll be at high rpms just about all the time. Motor life most likely will be shorter.

Any thoughts on this? How are the ls/vtecs holding up? anyone know of one thats held together for a while.
