Default B20 man Trans vs. LS man trans

are the 2 trannies the same....cause i cna get a b20 swap for a good price but it has a b20 man trans wit it not a ls or "sport" b series trans...peace..what are the diffs..thanx..peace

i believe they have different gear ratios

i wasent aware that b20's ever had a manual trans, I guess it's all what you want ..(ie, long or short gears)if you go for FI you might want longer gears if you stay N/A
a tighter trannie would be the way to go, but you will be @ vary high rpm for highway driveing being that the trannies are geared for vtec motors....hope this helps assist your decision.......

correct, lol of course... i dont know the diffs. but overall i think the b18 is better...
