whats the best way to launch, in your opinion. how do you luanch, and hwy do you launch that way? TIA

Get yourself some energy suspension motor mount inserts, and than launch from 5500rpm like me.....Cant wait to see how much these things helped me, I just installed them saturday and Im loving them more and more every time I drive my car.

 

does he rev to 5500 and drop the clutch?

no, he didnt say he drops the clutch...
and i highly doubt he does, or else he'd be pulling 2.7 short times...

prolly does like me...
rev to 5k or so blipping the throttle...
then feather it out riding the clutch just at the edge of traction...
that is how you get the best 60' on street tires...

not very easy on the clutch, but it works...

I actually have not been to the track sense I put the motor mounts in, before the mounts went in I would rev to about 4000rpm and feather the **** out of the clutch. I will be going to the track a week from today (wednesday) with two new mods....My motor mounts, and Hondata #4. I just sent out my ecu an hour ago, I should have it back by friday...ill let you know how my 5500rpm launch goes.
