i'm here asking a pretty newbie question but im new to cars anyways so i just wanted to know what is the best way to launch ur car? i always let off the clutch right before i gas? is this the right way or is there a better way? the tires seem to get no traction when i do this...i just want to know because i might be hitting some 1/4 time slips next week.. want to get the best possible.. thanks

 

With slicks and a lot of power, 8,000 rpm and sidestep the clutch, after loading the clutch slightly. Street tires require more finesse. Lower launching rpm and feathering the clutch.
