Did you install a matching final drive gear? In other words, did you transfer the old ring gear to the LSD, or did you use the one that came with it? If you used the ring gear that came with the LSD, did you replace the countershaft? The gears have to match, or you will have problems similar to what you are describing. What kind of lubricant did you put in the transmission?

No, I did not swap the original ring gear back onto the new LSD. The FD is the same, so they should be cut identically? I'll look for excess wear on that.

I use BG Synchroshift in the gearbox.
