Default Very bad hesitation...

Hey guys, I've been having this problem lately and I'm not really sure what it could be. Sometimes when I'm driving, my car would hesitate HORRIBLY from 4,000 RPM - 6,000 RPM. It will do it no matter how much I have the throttle depressed.

The car still moves during this time period but VERY SLOWLY. However, it sounds like it normally would so basically I'm making a lot of noise and not going anywhere. At around 6000 RPM it would kick back in and go.

I'm not really sure what it could be. No signs of overheating, no smoke, nothing smells funny. It doesn't do it all the time either, only sometimes.

Could my fuel filter need replacing? Injectors cleaned? I'm thinking it may have something to do with fuel but not sure.

I HIGHLY doubt it's anything major, because the motor was just rebuilt, and it was doing this before the rebuild as well, so I'm thinking it doesn't have anything to do with internals (or bottom end for that matter)

Any, and all help is very much appreciated.

Thanks,

Goldfingiz
