cluth/tranny? problems
-when it engage from dead stop some times it makes loud click sound.
-when it disengage at low speed it make the clicking sound again
-when i slow down while in gear (very low speed like almost stoping speed) it makes the same sound.

suspension problem(wheel bearing???)
-when it speeds up around 40km so like 25mph and over it starts making the noise like wiiiiing wiiiiiiiiiiiing wiiiiiiiiiiing wiiiiiiiiiing and it gets faster as i speed up and gets slower as the speed deresses.


what the hell's wrong with my R?

 

Axle? Does it click when you turn at low speeds?

no.. not when i turn.. if it does it's probably the cv joint gone

but i am sure it's coming somewhere near tranny/cluth

 

mine clicks as well when I engage the clutch. Not all the time, but probably a few times a week. I thought it was a spring loose or ready or break, but no far no problems...

 

Mine makes the same clicking sound as yours does, on and off load. It has been making it for a year or so now. If you find out what it is let me know.

Purchase two new cv joint nutz (32mm versions) and replace the ones that are on the car (134ft/lbs IIRC).

That fixed my clicking sound for about 2 months.

I had a clicking sound when I engaged/disengaged the clutch on my ATS tranny...I narrowed it down to the slave cylinder...just clicks at the end of the release.

 

i had the same problem, mine was the clutch when downshifting, made a clicking noise...I thought it was the spring loader bolt that connected my JDM header to my cat...but it wasent, the dealer opened my clutch and saw a spring popped out and ordered me a new clutch for free....Problem solved!!!.. check yours!!

 

so anyone got this fixed?
