Default header type?

Im waiting on a GSR drivetrain to drop into my 92 hatch. Question is: what kind of headers should I go with, 4-2-1 or 4-1. I want decent low and midrange as this is my commuter (and everything else car). I see $100 headers on Ebay (Megan racing, etc), anybody familiar with these? Friend told me go with stainless only, the mild steel ones, even ceramic coated, just dont last. Know of any links to exhaust science (art) as it applies to Hondas? Thanks

Search here for theories on exhaust flow.

Also, stainless is the way to go, and 4-2-1 will provide the most midrage feelable torque, where as 4-1 will provide more up-top power and more noise.

Offsite on a different Honda forum, is an excellent thread about headers and exhaust...
