Default kamikaze header

Anyone know if kamikaze headers for an integra are any good?? they advertize better gains than dc sports. I'm probally gonna get the ceramic ones if i decide on them, any differences between the ceramic ones and the chrome ones besides appearance? I also did a search for kamikaze headers and nothing came up so please dont tell me to just do a search

As far as construction goes, the ceramic coating is normally used to keep exhaust heat inside the exhaust system (and outside the engine bay air space). However, on many headers, the ceramic is used to rust-proof cheap steel alloys. Check with Kamikazee if the ceramic header is mild steel or stainless. I would choose stainless for a street car - it will last longer - then I would send it to JetHot to get coated.

i was under the impression that the kamikaze header was good for supercharged applications and not so much n/a. and i think they are made of mild steel at least the ceramic coated ones.

Had one on my GSR. I think and I have read that it saps mid-range power for a small top end improvement.

I have also heard that they are good for supercharged apps.

Get a 4-2-1 header for mid-range improvement. Definetly not the Kamikaze.
SCC did a comparo of GSR headers a while back....the DC was definetly the best
bang for the buck.

Not sure about the SE though. My guess is that you would be looking for more top end on that motor. You should try searching in the Integra forum.

Good luck

Kamakazi is one of the best for the price for FI. But I'm talking about 8psi +. NA engines shouldn't use it.

BTW I'm selling mine. Secondaries nearly new, the primaries have never been installed. Trying to sell the whole thing headers, ramdom tech cat, and the thermal research exhaust.
