Default Quick help on install of AEM CAI

Hi all, I need some quick help here. I just installed my AEM CAI. I started my engine and saw CEL, then I realize I forgot to connect the sensor on the TB. I quickly turned my car off and connected the sensor. When I start the engine again, the CEL is still there. Can anyone give me some light here? Thanks!

Did you connect the sensor back onto the intake tube itself also? There should be no way a CEL comes on with an intake, unless you forgot to plug a sensor.

Can you tell me how to reset it?
And why I need to reset it? Because I forgot to plug in the sensor the first time?
Thanks!

Why did you even unplug the sensor??? last time i checked the sensor doesnt need to be unplugged to put the CAI on. Anyhow, just take off the positive battery cable for a minute (not exactly a minute dont count down ) then replace it. CEL should go away. But before you make the CEL disappear, if you know how to check the code, check it to see if it is the sensor or not.

another way to reset the ECU is just to remove the fuse for the ECU. Give it about 1 minute then plug it back in. Should go away without a problem

Got it, thanks!

P.S.: I just unplug the sensor cause it is "sort of" getting out of my way. But I must say it is not necessary and I think I won't do that again next time!

It is the under-hood fuse #47 if I remember correctly. It is a 7.5A fuse.

To reset the ECU and eliminate the CEL open the underhood fuse box near the battery. There is a 7.5 amp fuse in the back row, refer to the cover to verify that it is the Radio Back-up fuse. Remove the fuse and reinstall it, you don't have to wait just pull it and put it back in. The CEL will be cleared.
