CAI QUESTION
I just purchased a AEM CAI for ITR
but it has one hole to plug only
I believe that hole is for the tube that goes from valvecover
on my old CAI. it has two hole,
one is for valvecover. the other one is for a plug from my car.
looks like a sensor.
my concern is...what do I do with the plug / sensor. where should I connect that plug to if the CAI has only one hole

Re: CAI QUESTION (Padawan)
just wondering how come an original ITR doesn't have that sensor at all
and if I don't plug that sensor. will it throw an engine light?

The ITR has the sensor located on the intake manifold. The sensor helps the computer determine proper fuel metering, so I'd suggest installing it correctly.

Re: CAI QUESTION (Padawan)
yeah the ITR has the IAT on the intake manifold. What motor/year car are you putting this on? 96-00 ex? those are the cars with the IAT on the intake tube.

IAT is the intake air temperature sensor, which is what we're discussing here. As its name implies, it tells the ECU the temperature of the air being drawn into the motor.
