Default Clutch noise?

I've been noticing that my R makes this slight SHHHHHHH noise when I'm engaging or disengaging the clutch at idle in gear or outta gear and its a little bit louder the more revs I'm at when I'm driving on the street. Does anyone know what it could be?

I have that problem on my GSR. It screeches while engaging into gears, right?

After some research, I believe it's due to the release bearing of the clutch being loose, something or another. No big deal, it seems, but it can be annoying. I haven't been hearing it much for a while now, though.

That was the first sign that the throwout bearing was going on one of my old cars. If the sound gradually gets louder over time, that's probably it.

Mine does that. It is normal if it is the same thing that I have. My other ITR motor and other cars that I've changed the clutch on/driven have that too.

hey mines does that too.
Are you sure it is normal as mines didnt do it before (58,000 miles on stock clutch, 2 CM, and 1 ACT). I thought it was the release bearing (and Crappy CM clutch->less than 5000 miles) and since I was dropping the tranny I put in a new clutch and release bearing, pilot bearing and its still there Anyone else have an idea?

My gsr also has that noise. Every time when I engage in 1st gear, there comes the sound "Eeeeeeeee". The sound will goes off after the 1st gear totally engaged. Will it damage the transmission?
