when my clutch is all the way to the floor it makes like a clattering or a loud tapping noise, if i let it up about a 1/4 of an inch it completely goes away,only does it when im in gear like at a stop light. it immediately goes away after driving. clutch still has lots of pressure , doesnt slip, no gears are grinding, no pop outs, what could this be ?

Noise with the clutch pedal down generally points to a bad clutch throw out/release bearing.

throw out bearing; cheap but not an easy toss in.
