Just wondering what type of headers you guys are running on your b16a? Also, why did you go with that setup and how is the clearance? Any other advice/suggestions b/c I am lookin for a header and I dont want to run into some problems...

I was using the DC 4-1 on my last swap. My crx was slammed and it scraped every once and a while but nothing too major.

 

i too am running with the dc 4-1 really no problems, but it rubs on my front crosmember. it's no big deal thow

 

i have the 4-2-1. its mad bent. i need a new one. my car was too low

 

DC 4-2-1 with 2 1/4 inch collector/piping at the 2-1 merge. Scraped but not bent yet. I've also been using a single stock 1-wire 02 sensor near the collector, I would suggest using a 4-wire 02 sensor as my car doesn't run the best.

 

Comptech tig stainless 4-2-1 with 1 o2 in the stock 99-00 b16a2 location. Running absolutely beautifully with a Hondata Stage 2 (tapped the 2nd o2 into the 1st o2). I got the header because its one of the best USDM headers out there, without spending money for the bling factor of a JDM spoon, mugen, etc....

Pics in my sig of ground clearance, and crossmember clearance...no modification necessary.

Hey Count, what is that CAI off of? Since I see no battery, I'm assuming you put it in the back? Are you using your normal battery or one of those sealed *****?

 

Its an AEM CAI from a 99-00 Civic Si. I ran the battery to the back (there are some pics of it in my sig) and im using a stock battery inside a sealed box. Im pretty much at the point in my life where if i get scalded by hot battery acid it will be a good thing...

ive always used dc headers ( more than 1 crx) on what ever ive done!! ive have a 421 on my car now with a 2nd o2 bung welded into it! i have found these headers make more power than any outher header out there!!!

 

the primaries and secondaries are just too small on the DC. I would prefer the an-r header.
