the header probably isnt a "tuned" one so it wont let the o2 sensor work properly. exhaust is great and a nightmare in one. hows that for pro and con??

yeah! thanks for ur input. I think i denied the fact that maybe there was something wrong w/ the DC headers for a long time, due to their reputation.

u know anyone who is selling their their stock manifold?

Did you have this problem with a stock manifold? I never had a problem with o2 sensor when i put my DC header on.

You sure you have both sensors on in the right location?

You can get an O2 simulator and just not run an sensor, and still run your header. Just another option

no i did'nt. the primary reason i bought the DCs' cuz my stock manifold was cracked. even then i was getting any codes. rather than paying 350 for stock manifold (just the upper piece), i got a deal on new DCs' for 275.

i think it's a case-by-case scenario.. in this case it's bad headers. I had DC headers on my 93 hb si and i had no problem.

Wrong....that won't work. Your car will fail the self diagnostic test and if the header isn't crab legal (not sure if DC's are) it'll fai there too.

I speak this from experience of late.
