Default Need guidance before ordering B16.

I will be ordering a B16 for my CRX DX within the next week from passwordjdm.com. I am getting it installed at my local Honda dealership for $600 as well as $350 for the DPFI to MPFI swap. I just want to make sure this is really EVERYTHING I will need to deliver to them to have the swap completed.

As it says on the passwordjdm.com website:

motor, tranny, clutch/flywheel, axles, ecu, shift linkage, all attached components... starter, alternator, sensor, t.body, JDM wire loom, distributor, and everything is still intact!!! standard start up warranty applies to all motors!!!

... and I've already got Hasport mounts. Is this everything? They guy I talked to said I would need 86-89 Integra half-shafts. I've never heard of someone mentioning this for a B16 to CRX swap. Do I need them? Thanks for your help.

Dont use that axles that come with it, use 90-93 axles and intmed. shaft. uhh do a search for the rest of the stuff your gonna need. theres another thread floating around that has all the stuff that you need. or do a search.

good luck

Yeah, I checked that. Didn't really help much considering there are basically 2 responses and that its a B18 into CRX HF. This will be my first experience w/ swapping a car. Id like someone to respond to my personal situation. Im sure you can sypathize with me considering my lack of experience and the large financial investment. But thanks.

$350 for the DPFI to MPFI???You can do that yourself much cheaper and save yourself some $$ in the process.

Did you get the Hasport modified shift linkage? You will need this too, unless you buy a 90-93 Teg shift linkage, and modify it yourself.

Also, are you going to be replacing anything when you get the swap? ie..timing belt, water pump, clutch

Yes, I plan to replace all of those and the alternator belt. What about the teg half shafts? Any why should I use 2 gen teg axles instead of the B16 axles? Wasn't this engine/tranny setup designed for the CRX?
