Default OBDII IAT sensor problem (hondata related)

Guys,
Any of you running obd2 car with turbo and use hondata and obd1 ecu? What you guys usually put that IAT sensor at? I have it inside the charge pipe and now i get CEL 10 daily but the weird thing is that everytime i turn off my car and turn it on again the code will go away and will come back in like 10 miles or so. A friend of mine told me that i need to change out the IAT sensor to a OBD1 and have it on the intake manifold, what do you guys think?

Hondata recommends that you put it in the intake manifold.

Most (all?) of the OBD2 Civics use an IAT that you cannot bolt into the manifold. It plugs into the rubber intake boot.

When I used my Hondata in my old Civic, I used an OBD1 IAT sensor.

Are you sure that you don't have a code 1? Man, I wasted a lot of time on the dyno once because one of my IAT wires got disconnected. The ECU threw a code 10, but I thought it was a code 1. It's easy to confuse the 2.

It's not only a OBD1 IAT, it is also an OBD1 IAT....These were used in all the OBD2 Integras. Visit a junk yard.

I'm seriously not trying to be a smart ***, but what were you trying to say? I'd like to tap the manifold in the blank space on my B16A, but I don't know what size and thread pitch for the tap I should buy. My stock OBD2 IAT sensor is currently in the charge pipe, and it seems very snug using a section of fuel hose as a grommet with grey RTV silicone on the inside and out. I don't think it will leak, but I would really like to move it to the manifold. Do you happen to know why Honda decided to put the sensor in the intake, rather than the manifold, where there is clearly a spot for it?
